It’s official: March is our busiest month yet at GuessworkVR. If you couldn’t make it to COSI earlier this month and you’re not coming to OTFC next weekend, you can grab a ticket to the Ready Player One Experience in Columbus next Thursday, March 29.
We’re not sure if you’ve heard, but there happens to be a little movie coming out by some director named Steven Spielberg, and it just so happens to be all about VR and set in Columbus, Ohio. Crazy, huh?
In all seriousness, we’re pretty pumped for Ready Player One to launch next weekend, and our friends at Multivarious are putting together a premiere party that keeps with the movie’s techy, VR-heavy theme. The Ready Player One Experience won’t be like other premieres where you grab a ticket and head to the theater, though that will certainly be part of it.
The ticket will get you a seat for the movie showing at the Gateway Film Center, but it’s also a key to some glitzy tech, new and old. From the Ohio DeLorean Club to a Tesla Model 3, and from retro games all the way to new projects by fellow indie studios like Wraith Games, there will be plenty to check out at the event. If we’re being completely honest, this is probably the most unique event we’ve ever been invited to, and you won’t want to miss it.
You can get all the details and grab ticket through the event’s website. See you in the OASIS!
