Hey there, everyone. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Yes, we’re still here, and yes, we’re still hard at work with game development. In fact, in the past few months, we’ve been busier than ever. But more on that in a minute. First, we have some exciting news to share with you.
Last year, we attended GDEX for the first time as a studio, and we had a blast. Like we mentioned in another article, we learned a ton from the experience, and we’ve applied what we’ve learned to UNDR[H2O]. So, we’re happy to announce that we’ll be exhibiting at GDEX again this year!
The expo will be taking place from September 29 through October 1 and will be moving from COSI to the Greater Columbus Convention Center. We’ll be showing off our progress on UNDR[H2O], and we should have more details about what to expect in the coming months, so stay tuned.
We’d also like to announce a new series you’ll find here on our website starting next month: History in the Industry. The gaming industry has a rich history, and we’d like to celebrate some of the moments that impacted us not only as gamers but as creators as well. Everyone on the team can point to games that changed their lives in some way or another, and we’re looking forward to penning our thoughts and sharing them with you. We think this is a fitting way to say thanks to the games that made us who we are while also showing you a glimpse of what makes us tick.
In July, we’ll begin our History in the Industry series with two articles: one from Tyler to commemorate Rocket League’s second birthday and one from Matthew to celebrate Pokemon Crystal turning 16. Check back next month to see their musings on how those game influenced them.
Finally, we’d like to share just a tiny tidbit about something else we’re working on. We’ve been offered an opportunity to work on a separate project in conjunction with another company. We can’t talk much about it, but it’s a project that our crew is stoked to be working on, and we’re splitting our efforts between it and UNDR[H2O] at the moment. As of right now, we don’t think the new project will impede our progress on UNDR[H2O] very much. In fact, we’ve been learning some time management skills along the way that are helping us develop UNDR[H2O].
So here we are! Sorry for being hermits for the past couple of months, but we’ve been chugging along furiously behind the scenes to create some awesome experiences for you all. Don’t expect us to disappear like that again anytime soon, though. Stay tuned, and we’ll see you at GDEX!
